Background Information

Kenya Universities Quality Assurance Network (KuQAn) is a professional body that networks all Quality Assurance (QA) practitioners and Enthusiasts.
It was formed and the constitution promulgated in 2014.

KuQAn is now fully registered by the Republic of Kenya, under the Registration of Business Names Act, (Cap 499, Section 14) as an association.
KuQAn Registration was in consultation with;-

  • Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST)
  • Commission for University Education (CUE).

KuQAn is now recognized by:-

  • East African Universities Quality Assurance Network (EAQAN) and
  • International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE)

KuQAn was officially launched on 28th April 2016 at a CUE sponsored function.
